Service providers
CommonPlateGiving currently uses:
- Stripe for payment processing and connected-account services.
- Resend for transactional email.
- Vercel for application hosting.
- Cloudflare for Workers and managed application records.
Stripe receives and processes information provided in connection with payment services under the Stripe Privacy Policy. CommonPlateGiving does not store full card numbers, church bank-account numbers, or Stripe passwords.
Church account separation
Church records are separated by church account. Access to private church records is limited to authenticated users authorized for that church.
Children's information
CommonPlateGiving is intended for adult church administrators and authorized volunteers. Children do not create CommonPlateGiving accounts. Authorized adults enter child information for church check-in and ministry administration.
Churches should collect only information reasonably necessary for those purposes. Child records and check-in information are not displayed on public church mini-pages. Parents and guardians should direct access, correction, or deletion requests through their church.
Retention, correction, and deletion
Records are retained while needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and preserve required financial records. Authorized churches may request correction, export, or account closure. Some audit, payment, dispute, and security records may need to be retained after closure.
Security
CommonPlateGiving uses administrative access controls, church-account separation, encrypted provider credentials, secure sessions, and audit records. No system can promise perfect security.
Privacy choices and contact
Contact info@commonplategiving.com regarding access, correction, export, deletion, or privacy questions. Requests involving church-controlled records may be directed to the authorized church.
Policy changes
Material policy updates will be reflected by changing the effective date and, when appropriate, notifying church administrators.
